• We do not require any personal information (not even an email address).
• We do not verify identities but we might verify an email address if it is provided.
• It is possible, though unlikely, that we might be forced to disclose any information we hold in response to a court order or other binding mandate.
• If you email us, your email address (and PGP key if provided) will be stored in an encrypted Address book.

Cryptocurrencies

• We do not require any form of KYC/AML as we believe that the digital world needs a cash analogue.
• Receive addresses, transaction amounts, and transaction IDs are deleted once enough confirmations are received.
• We support Bitcoin and Monero. Monero is preferred.

Where your data is stored

• The database and application servers of BipZap.com are hosted in the UK.
• Our email is provided by Proton Technologies AG in Switzerland.
• Backups are encrypted and may be replicated anywhere in the world.
• Servers that host your virtual instances may be anywhere in the world and will require the deployment of your SSH key.

Preventing Abuse

• Domain names may be hashed and checked against 3rd party services to reduce abuse.

Encryption

• We encrypt data at rest where possible.
• We utilize TLS and/or Tor .onion transport security for all connectivity.
• We strongly recommend that any email sent to us is encrypted with GnuPG.
